Living With Lyme Disease – and a New Direction Forward
At 22, Georgina’s life changed suddenly when she developed a range of unexplained neurological symptoms. She was eventually diagnosed with Lyme disease, along with additional infections that required extensive treatment.
Over time, the condition affected nearly every part of her life. Daily activities became difficult, and despite months of intensive medical care, her progress remained limited. The experience also brought emotional challenges, including periods of fear, exhaustion, and uncertainty about the future.
After returning home for further care, Georgina came across Dr Joe Dispenza’s work. With an openness to try something new, she began the work and started to experience moments of greater calm, clarity, and connection.
Over time, her symptoms began to shift, and her relationship to her body and her past began to change as well. Georgina realized that part of her healing required letting go of the identity of being a victim to her condition.
Today, Georgina lives without the symptoms that once defined her daily life and says she wouldn’t change a thing about her past, because it led her to this moment.
